In a nutshell, we are looking for someone to fill a multifacetted role that includes light process work, as well as packing and transportation of goods from our manufacturing floor in Brendale.
Your duties would include the assembly of small power transformers using power tools and machinery. Packing of outbound goods prior to dispatch, as well as transporting and collecting goods from our vendors. Working as part of a team on our factory floor, you will be an integral part of the day-to-day running of our business.

Day-to-day Activities
- Lifting and manoeuvring transformers manually
- Inserting core steel into the transformer coils using specialised coring machines
- Framing and performing basic functional testing of transformers
- Vacuum impregnation and oven baking of transformers
- Packaging of outbound freight for dispatch
- Collection of goods from vendors
Tasks & responsibilities
- Product Assembly using power tools & machinery
- Check stock levels and report deficiencies in products or raw materials
- Review and follow manufacturing manuals to build products
- Meet the deadlines of individual production tasks during shift
- Keep the worksite clean to avoid hazards from chemicals and fragile products
Qualifications & experience
- Experience working with power tools and machinery, including:
- Guillotine
- Belt sander
- Battery Drill, crimper, etc
- Previous experience as a Production Worker, or a similar manufacturing role is highly preferred
- A license to operate a Forklift is required
- A manual drivers license is required
- Ability to lift heavy loads and transfer them manually
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- You must possess unrestricted working rights to Australia and New Zealand.
