About the role:
You will be required to work in the production areas of our manufacturing environment within Camec. You will be operating machines and supporting the manufacturing of Aluminum frames, cladding & sandwich Panels. You will work to SOP’s & CAD drawings to ensure quality standards and safety protocols are maintained.
The key responsibilities of the role are to:
- You will be responsible for Manufacturing of wall cladding, Sandwich Panel Walls, and aluminium frames.
- You are expected to work within the required manufacturing timelines and meet deadlines.
- Assist with Technical and production Problem Solving.
- Be able to Operate a forklift.
- You will be responsible for Pick & packing of orders.
- Responsible to follow SOP’s and process controls to ensure quality standards are met.
- Ensure safety and compliance requirements are met at all times
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic with an appetite to learn. They will have experience within a production environment and ideally have an understanding of operating machinery. A forklift license is required for this role and the ability to work well in a team is also very important.
The successful applicant will also demonstrate:
- 3-5 years’ of previous experience in a similar production role
- High level interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise.
- Proficient computer experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
- Excellent understanding of all safety, quality and environmental policies, procedures, regulations and legislation
- Ability to lead by example on safety matters
- Experience with 3D CAD modelling and/or CNC programming preferred but not essential
- Strong verbal and written communications and customer service skills.
- Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Works well under pressure.
