About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the manufacturing and production processes of Joinery. This role involves managing the factory team, scheduling, ensuring quality standards and meeting project deadlines. They will be working alongside a management to implement safety procedures, coordinate overall logistics of factory floor operations.
You will have proven experience in producing working drawings and cutting list with the designated software and programming CNC machine.

Previous experience in a similar role is ideal, along with a quality hands-on approach to your work and a willingness to be part of a highly successful Australian company.
Qualifications & experience
- Trade qualified
- Joinery and Cabinet Making experience ESSENTIAL
- Ability to work independently
- Great attention to detail
- Ability to read plans and build to specifications
- Clear communication skills
- Works well in a team with good leadership skills
- Positive attitude
Key Responsibilities
- Develop production schedules, allocate resources, and set priorities to ensure timely completion of projects
- Team Leadership and Management as well as quality control
- Delegate tasks, assign responsibilities, and provide guidance to ensure efficient and productive work
- Estimating for new jobs
- Producing working drawings and cutting list with the software
- Programming CNC machine
- Sometimes the need to do shop drawings on Autocad
- Ordering material and consumables for production
About You…
- Factory or Production Management experience (ideally commercial or shopfitting)
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate, guide, and mentor a diverse team.
- Effective delegation, communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments and interact with staff and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage high stress environments
- Strong understanding of joinery fabrication processes, materials, and techniques
- Demonstrated competency in Microsoft Office, Auto Cad, CNC sofrware
- Experience in the commercial joinery/shopfitting industry is a must
