We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product/Technical Expert to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success and be our resident expert supporting a growing business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Support: Provide expert technical support to our sales team – you will be our expert, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and resources to effectively communicate product benefits and technical specifications to clients.
- Sales: Engage directly in the sales process, utilizing your technical expertise to identify and address customer needs, develop proposals, and close deals.
- Project Deliverables: Oversee project deliverables from conception through implementation, ensuring all milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Product Development: Lead and collaborate on the development of innovative products within the utility space from initial concept to final launch.
- Approvals and Processes: Navigate and manage the approvals and processes essential for product development and deployment, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- Technical Expertise: Strong technical background – Batteries (multiple technologies) / Power Electronics as a minimum
- Sales Acumen: Proven track record in sales, with the ability to translate technical features into compelling sales propositions.
- Project Management: Experience managing complex projects, with a focus on meeting deadlines and achieving project goals.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with the regulatory landscape and approval processes related to power products including batteries and power electronics.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external clients.
- Location: Must be based on the Eastern Seaboard, with the ability to travel as required.
