Happy Haven OSHC is a South Australian-owned and operated company offering a range of services. We are an Approved Provider with an expert team capable of running outstanding OSHC programs on school sites.
Join us as a Professional Development Facilitator, making a significant impact by providing face to face support to our OSHC services and educators.
What's the role?
- Support the development of services by conducting regular visits to build relationships with Service Managers, Service Administrators and Educators, provide support for Assessment and Rating preparation, engage with assigned services, and identify service needs
- Create a positive learning environment, facilitating Hub groups for educators to exchange ideas and build relationships
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create interactive, learner-centered training materials, tailoring content to meet specific departmental or role-based needs and ensuring practical application
- Offer support in various areas such as engagement with children, QIP, inclusion, programming, supervision practices, and more
- Coordinate traineeships, including training days, study sessions, on-site visits, and maintaining essential trainee records for compliance
- Manage and support the Serious Incidents Phone Line, offering guidance, collecting information, assisting with reports, and ensuring compliance with national regulations and organisational policies
- Foster collaboration with different teams and external partners to streamline operations and enhance training initiatives
- Manage the Professional Development Team mailbox and phone line

What we need in you?
- Effective presentation and communication abilities
- Polished computer skills, including advanced proficiency in the MS Office Suite
- Competence in utilising technology tools for virtual training
- Innovative thinking and problem-solving skills to tailor content for diverse learning scenarios
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with participants
- Organisational and time management skills
- Flexibility to accommodate varying training schedules and adapt to changing priorities
- Qualification in Training, Education, Human Resources, Communication, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience)
- Hold or willing to obtain a valid Working with Children Check (required)
- Hold or be willing to obtain Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect (RHHAN-EC) certificate (required)
- Current valid Driver's Licence (required)
