We are seeking skilled and experienced painters to join our Sydney team on a permanent, full-time basis. As a painter, you will be expected to utilize advanced painting and finishing techniques, applying your expertise to high-end residential projects.

In this role, you may be assigned to work on projects in Sydney’s northern beaches, lower north shore, or eastern suburbs. You will be working solely on luxury residential houses, with a focus on quality above all else.

Key Responsibilities:

• Surface Preparation: Prepare various surfaces, including walls, ceilings, and trim, by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and repairing cracks to ensure a smooth and even finish.
• Application of Paints and Finishes: Apply paints, varnishes, stains, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment, ensuring consistent coverage and color match.
• Color Mixing and Matching: Accurately mix and match colors to meet specific design requirements and client preferences.
• Detail Work: Perform fine detail work, such as cutting in edges, painting trim, and finishing cabinetry and other custom woodwork.
• Maintenance of Equipment: Maintain all painting tools and equipment, including brushes, rollers, sprayers, and ladders, ensuring they are clean and in good working condition.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensuring a safe work environment for all workers and visitors on site.
• Quality Control: Conduct thorough inspections of completed work to ensure it meets the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Core Skills:

• Cert III Painting or equivalent in work experience.
• High-end Residential or commerical painting experience preferable.
• White card required
• Expertise in various painting techniques and finishes, including faux finishes, glazing, and texture applications.
• Strong understanding of color theory and the ability to mix and match paints to achieve desired hues and tones.
• Ability to identify and resolve any issues related to surface preparation, paint application, or finishing touches.
• Excellent attention to detail, quality and finish;
• Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, climbing ladders, and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to maintain a safe and clean work environment;
• to be well presented, with strong time management skills, excellent attention to detail and willingness to learn and teach;

• Travel within Sydney to various projects is required
