The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists to join the Red Appointments' team in Adelaide. Reporting directly to the Business Manager, you will be part of a high achieving payroll and finance team.
We are not searching for a senior level accountant, however a background and experience in payroll and finance is essential. Above all we are seeking the person with a can-do attitude, someone who is self-motivated and has pride in their work. The Role
You will be one of a team of five, who work in our payroll and finance team. Reporting to the Business Manager, your primary responsibilities include;
- Part of the 2-person team completing the weekly payroll of over 400 contractors in an automated payroll system.
- Supporting finance team with weekly, monthly duties.
- Talking to candidates and clients through the payroll process
- Helping in accounts receivable
- Helping with monthly management reports for clients
- Support finance division, so some XL work
The successful applicant;
- A genuinely nice person who works well in a team
- Like to do things correctly the first time, and you just get stuff done, and enjoy the autonomy that comes with that
- A bookkeeper / finance background with payroll experience
- Best practice approach to all areas of responsibility
- Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office
- Attention to detail
