About the Position
We are looking to welcome a Program Coordinator to manage the Family and Child Connect service that leads a Local Level Alliance of services and provides assessment, advice, and referral support for families.
- Full time, 6-month backfill opportunity.
- Level 7 under the SCHCADS award. Salary range is $110,913 to $115,538 plus super.
- Government funded service until 30 June 2024 with possible extension.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Lead a team to deliver high quality outcomes within a performance planning and development culture.
- Manage intake, referral, and engagement processes to meet output and outcome requirements.
- Conduct case consultations with team members.
- Collaborate with the regional Intake Service, Child Safety staff, and other services regarding the development of the Family and Child Connect model.

About You
- Relevant tertiary qualification (Allied Health, Social Work, Human Services) and professional registration (if required).
- At least five (5) years’ experience managing a multidisciplinary team in a similar environment.
- Highly developed knowledge of child protection issues and the child protection sector in Queensland.
- Experience and capacity to foster and maintain good working relationships with key stakeholders and the community.
Other Requirements
- Eligibility for a Working with Children Check or professional exemption.
- Current driver’s licence.
- Legally able work in Australia (proof of eligibility will be requested).
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved medical exemption.
