Your new companyHays are working with a well-known Tier 1 Federal Government client, within the Health domain, who has an immediate requirement for a Program Delivery Manager.The Digital Reform Branch provides retail digital and data services for a range of different business areas across the Biosecurity Group. The branch operates in an agile and continually evolving digital and data environment, which has unique challenges and opportunities. The branch is highly connected and integrated with relevant biosecurity and compliance business areas.
Your new role
Our client is seeking a results-driven Program Delivery Manager to manage multiple projects across the branch. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with several multidisciplinary teams in planning, coordinating, and delivering projects that enhance the efficiency of our department's critical information technology systems.
In order to be successful, you'll require:
- Demonstrated experience with Delivery Management of complex data products within a government setting under constrained budget and restricted timeframes
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including stakeholder presentations, project documentation and reporting
- Experience in negotiation of outcomes with stakeholders across all levels and within a range of business contexts
- Ability to provide leadership and drive excellence in a team of diverse professions along with flexibility to adapt to a dynamic work environment
- Demonstrated experience in delivery of a program of work, or delivery of several simultaneous projects
- Demonstrated track-record of developing and maintaining positive and productive relationships within a team and with a wide variety of stakeholdersWhat you'll get in return
