AddressHotel Receptionist
Cairns Queenslander Hotel and Apartments are an established 4-star accommodation hotel located in Cairns North, currently looking for an experienced front office superstar to join the team.
While offering a stable roster, the successful applicant must be flexible to work morning and afternoon shifts, including weekends and public holidays. Full time / part time or casual role available, with opportunity for career development for the right applicant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcoming and assisting guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Handling incoming calls, emails, and enquiries promptly and effectively
- Processing reservations including groups, check-ins, and check-outs
- Completing general reception duties with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Liaising with management, housekeeping and maintenance department
- Maintaining reception cleanliness and stock
About You:
- Strong, authentic customer service with the ability to solve a range of problems in a calm and timely manner
- Able to handle busy environment, prioritise and complete tasks on hand promptly
- Flexible with hours/days
- Strong computer literacy and excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
- Experience with RoomMaster or similar reservation system is highly regarded
- Team player who can also work autonomously
- Can-do attitude
