OnTrack Tasmania is a growing NDIS provider whose staff enrich the lives of people with disabilities and or mental illness. A strong focus on social justice guides Participant support to enhance independent and connected individual lives. Further support requests are referred to more suitable mainstream agencies and OnTrack advocates on their behalf. Whether it is getting into housing, joining community groups or gaining access to employment, we walk beside them.

We are looking for a passionate approach in developing quality services. We need a leader for a team that processes intake and engages with participants. It provides quality programs that enhance life experiences and provide opportunities to connect with others. Continuous improvement, monitoring outcomes, and ensuring that all processes support the completion of business objectives to a high standard are essential in this role. The role will contribute to best practice Participant support by ensuring that the operations of the services are consistent, relevant, and provided in compliance with OnTrack Tasmania Policies, Procedures, and Guidelines, Organisational Mission, Vision, and Values, the Quality Framework for Disability Services, NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework, Disability Act 2006, all relevant legislations, and rules relevant to working with people with a disability.

We are looking for a self-motivated and results-driven expert in the field. The successful applicant will meet the following criteria:

  • Diploma or Tertiary qualification in Community Services and/or Disability (or its equivalent).
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in working with NDIS participants with complex needs.
  • Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge and experience in working with the NDIS framework and systems
  • Demonstrated a minimum of 5 years of experience working with people with disabilities and in the Community Services Sector.
  • Demonstrated experience with person-centred practice.
  • Ability to liaise and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with a diverse range of stakeholders, including vulnerable people with multiple barriers
  • Experience in risks, audit, assurance, and compliance management.
  • Ability to work autonomously and lead a multi-disciplined team in a reliable and highly professional manner.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance through a hands-on approach.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
