Embarking on a career journey with Social Futures means becoming part of a mission that goes beyond just a job. We are a voice for social change in regional Australia, with a history spanning over 47 years. This is a part time (30 hrs per week), fixed term role until 2 May 2025 based in Lismore

Your role within our dedicated Recovery Connect program, will allow you to:

  • Put to good use your knowledge of the issues that are faced by vulnerable people
  • Facilitate referrals to other relevant services and walk alongside the person as they access these services or available government funding
  • Provide high-quality, person-centred assistance
  • Understand and provide information on services available for those impacted

We are looking for a passionate individual with a desire to make a difference. The successful candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in health, psychology, social work, social science or social welfare, health promotion, community engagement, personal support or similar
  • Experience providing high quality customer-centred individual and/or family recovery support, strengthening capacity and/or case management
  • Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with all people to ensure effective relationships
  • Demonstrated experience in maintaining professional boundaries while engaging in person-centred work
