JOB TITLE:Project Administration
JOB TYPE: Full time
LOCATION: 19-20 Marine Terrace, Burnie TAS 7320
SUPERVISOR/MANAGER: Managing Director, Project Manager
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Required to coordinate project activities, managing schedules, and ensuring project deliverables are completed on time and within budgets. This includes documentation, handling the project budget, using time management skills to help the team stay on track, along with ordering project components, organizing freight and raising invoices.
- Entering data from signed quotes into a project management system
- Raising purchase orders for suppliers
- Raise and send final invoices
- Schedule deliveries and installations
- Create documentation for jobs, including plans, images and any relevant information required to complete the job
- Book freight shipments
- Issue purchase orders for payment on receipt of goods
- Tracking costs against budgets on projects
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace, and abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures
- Other administrative or project based tasks as directed
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Qualifications:
- WWVP Certification - Not required but helpful
- Australian Driver’s License
Skills:
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Ability to learn and use project management software
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Organised and able to meet deadlines
- Previous experience in the building industry will be of great benefit and favourably considered
