Your Responsibilities

To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate 4-8 years of relevant experience in architectural planning, designing, and construction administration, in Australia, New Zealand, or the UK. Additionally, you must have a detailed understanding of the construction process and be familiar with building codes, DEP requirements, Australian standards, and related legislation. Experience in managing other team members would be a bonus.

As a successful candidate, you will possess excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with consultants, local councils, and clients. It is essential that you are proficient in using AutoCAD and Revit, as these are key software packages that our office uses for the majority of projects.

• Manage all Documentation Delivery of architectural projects independently, in the following phases: Construction Certificate, DBP, Tender, Construction detailing (façade + waterproofing, etc.), develop standard details for construction phases, and ensure they meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Lead and manage local and Global team members to ensure project delivery with accuracy and on timely manners.
• Prepare detailed design, construction, tender, CC, and DBP documentation and associated compliance certificates.
• Communicate and co-ordinate effectively with consultants, local councils, and clients.
• Provide design input and technical expertise in all phases of projects.
• Utilize advanced skills in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, InDesign, and Enscape to produce high-quality designs.
• Be the go-to person for compliance knowledge base for BCA, Australian Standards, and relevant legislations.
• Provide on-site construction support and management during the construction delivery phase.
• Contribute to the improvement of office-wide systems, processes, and workflows.
• Any other ad hoc tasks as assigned by CEO.
