About the role
This position is a key member of the Project Controls division, within the Infrastructure & Planning Group, that oversees our substantial infrastructure development program. The Project Cost Control Manager is responsible for the establishment and maintenance of Cost Control measures, benchmarking systems, and resource optimisation across a wide range of projects. The role is pivotal in enhancing the accuracy of project estimations, managing portfolio cashflows, and ensuring the financial viability of all I&P projects.
About you
With tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying and significant experience in Project Cost management, you will have a high level of skill in Microsoft Office especially Excel and ideally be proficient in Power BI. You will work closely with a large cohort of project managers, advising and coaching them, to effect enhanced financial acumen across the I & P Group, thereby improving confidence level in estimations for all I&P projects and portfolio cashflow management.
As such, you will be equally comfortable with the technical aspects as you are with the interpersonal and influencing requirements of this role.
