Shutdown Cost Controller

Project Controls:
We are looking for experienced and motivated Cost Controllers and Cost Analysts to join our team and manage the delivery of Capital Portfolios, Shutdowns and Major Maintenance Projects.
As the Cost Controller, you will be responsible for assisting clients with all aspects of project costings including budget planning, tracking, forecasting and reporting. You will also be required to integrate within the client's systems, particularly using SAP, and support initiatives for continuous improvement.
  
Responsibilities include:

• Management of costs through SAP systems or similar;Daily tracking and reporting of project costs;
• Providing cost forecasts to Project Team, Managers and Clients;
• Management of works in progress, as well as end of month accruals;
• Provide support to clients in the use of SAP, raising purchase orders; approving supplier invoices, reviewing pending and committed costs, final project costs;
• Assist in the build-up of project budgets, WBS structures, opex and capex splits, cost control structures and improvements.

  About you:

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite;
• Experience with using Power BI an advantage;
• Proficient in SAP or equivalent;
• Experience in Earned Value Methods in Cost Forecasting;
• Excellent attention to detail, time management and ability to self-manage;
• Excellent communication skills across all levels of the business;
• Ability to work well within a team;
• Ambition for continuous improvement.
