About the Role
The Project Delivery Manager (Electrical) is a critical role within iElectrical’s senior leadership team, created to oversee and enhance the delivery of services across the Projects, Energy Team (Solar, Battery and EV) and Service and Maintenance divisions. This role is instrumental in managing substantial project deliverables, valued between $8-$10 million p.a.
Key responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management: Mentor and manage 40 indirect reports (primarily electrical professionals) to foster a high-performance culture aligned with iElectrical’s values.
- Project Oversight: Oversee Project Delivery processes, including forecasting, scheduling, budgeting, financial management, and invoice alignment.
- Technical Expertise: As the primary technical advisor, be responsible for providing guidance and support for project accuracy and client satisfaction.
- Client Liaison: Build and maintain strong relationships and continuous communication with clients regarding Project Delivery.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Work with the Head of Sales on bids, estimates, and potential new projects; collaborate with the Office Manager on operations.
- Operational Execution: Ensure proper setup, team readiness, and effective execution of new projects across all divisions.
- Reporting and Compliance: Maintain comprehensive project and job status reports, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and client expectations.
About the Person
The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical background with proven expertise in leading and providing technical advice. They will have significant experience in team leadership and project management within the electrical or related industries.
Exceptional leadership skills are essential, including the ability to mentor and inspire large, diverse teams. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are crucial for effectively interacting with all levels of clients.
The ideal candidate should possess highly developed problem-solving abilities, be capable of multitasking, and make quick decisions under pressure. They must be agile and adaptable, ready to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and respond to urgent situations effectively.
