Project Director - Prince2 Agile - Cms - 2 Year Contract

By working with us you can contribute your passion, unique skills, and talent to keep our community safe and deliver our vision – Safe communities supported by fair and ethical public institutions.Working in a challenging and dynamic environment, the Project Director is responsible for successful delivery of a critical Case Management System (CMS).The Project Director (CMS) will apply high-level technology program/project management methodologies, develop and maintain project schedules, including continual assessment and regular reporting on projects including progress against milestones, issues, resources required to ensure projects are implemented within agreed timeframes, quality standards and budget.Your key responsibilities:

• Develop/maintain a comprehensive business case that includes background of the project, the expected business benefits, the expected costs of the project and the anticipated risks.
• Develop an effective plan of action for implementing the CMS project from inception to completion
• Provide strategic and tactical advice to the Project Board through managing reporting and effective interactions with project board members to support successful delivery
• Manage activities associated with the ongoing governance of the project, including preparation and facilitation of meetings, delivery of effective and insightful project reporting, prepare and maintain budgets and assess and manage project interdependencies and risks
• Manage daily operations and supervise project team members involved to provide feedback and resolve complex problems to ensure the smooth and proper functioning of the project

For this role, we will consider how well you demonstrate your ability to:

• Leverage your demonstrated experience in successfully delivering major technology projects, ideally in implementing Case Management solutions.
• Navigate complex and ambiguous environments. In the absence of complete information understand areas of political sensitivity and risk, and use judgement when deciding how to proceed. Accurately read situations and group dynamics to inform project strategies.
• Provide advice and make decisions that are rigorously considered and supported by a clear rationale. Use analysis, experience and judgement to make informed decisions.
• Model open communication. Actively and attentively listen to others and seek to understand the audience to adapt accordingly. Work collaboratively with others. Read situations quickly and see conflicts as opportunities. Settle disputes equitably by finding common ground and gaining cooperation.
