Project Engineer (Infrastructure) - NSW
JDK is looking to expand its current team in Sydney to service our current clients. We are looking for several candidates with proven experience in civil, large-scale infrastructure or construction industry to join our team.
The candidate will form part of JDK’s established technical services team, currently delivering technical advice to several large-scale (value>$100M) projects for both contractor and government clients.

Key responsibilities
Coordinate construction engineering activities ensuring projects are implemented in accordance with design and specification
Assist in project forecasting and scheduling
Monitor construction progress for adherence to programme and report to the Project Manager
Execute working knowledge of legislation and contractual obligations relevant to the project
Undertake quantitative and qualitative safety, environment and quality risk assessment to ensure acceptable quality of structures and finishes.
Reporting methods; document and record management, progress and project performance reporting & compliance reporting.
Managing the work and performance of subcontractors to achieve outcomes per client expectations.
Demonstrate financial management skills and commercial acumen when making decisions.
About you
Accredited tertiary degree in Civil engineering, Science or Project Management
Minimum one year of industry experience in engineering or construction capacity
Experience with design interpretation, report development and construction reporting
Ability to multi-task and prioritise work activities
Safety focussed mindset and strong problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
