Based in the vibrant heart of Brisbane, this role is an exceptional opportunity for professionals seeking to make a significant impact in the energy industry. This exciting position is set for an initial term of 12 months, with the possibility of extension, offering a unique blend of Project Engineering, stakeholder management, and oversight of critical project facets within a large-scale gas processing project in Queensland's Surat Basin.Role Overview: The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting a significant gas gathering and processing/field compression program. While the position focuses on Project Engineering tasks, it will also encompass comprehensive stakeholder and contract package management, ensuring smooth operations and technical meetings. Though not highly technical, experience in the Oil & Gas sector will be highly regarded.What Were Looking For:

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience in Coal Seam Gas projects is highly desirable.
• Solid background in EPCM environments.
• Proven track record in managing contract packages for oil & gas facilities.
• Skilled in project controls within an engineering firm setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a vital support figure to the Facility Project Engineer/Manager.
• Manage and coordinate interfaces between vendors, contractors, and the owner's team.
• Ensure seamless coordination across internal functional teams and manage various technical and non-technical scopes.
• Oversee pre-mobilisation activities for contractors, with a preference for those experienced in the QLD CSG industry.
• Establish construction/commissioning completion systems and identify and mitigate risks to support project planning and reporting.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in an EPCM Oil & Gas engineering environment.
• Engineering Qualifications, Mechanical or other related technical discipline.
