Position Title: Structures Foreman/ Engineer
Location: Sydney CBD, NSW
Salary: Paying up to $120K + super

A well trusted and established tier 1 Australian Developer Builder is in search of a Structures Foreman/ Engineer for their team in Sydney that specialises in structures and residential projects at a total value of $300M.
  
This is an ideal opportunity for a Junior who has obtained a minimum of 2 years industry experience and would like to fast track their career with a renowned company that manage projects across the residential, commercial, and retail sectors.
  
The Role:

• Design and analyse structural components and systems for solar tracking installations, considering factors such as wind loads, snow loads, seismic loads, and foundation requirements.
• Conduct structural calculations, simulations, and modelling to assess the performance and stability of solar tracking systems under various environmental conditions.
• Develop innovative solutions to optimize the structural design, efficiency, and reliability of solar tracking systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of structural designs with overall system requirements.
• Provide technical expertise and support during all phases of project development, from conceptual design to construction and commissioning.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to assess structural conditions, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices in structural engineering, particularly in the renewable energy sector.

About you:  

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction and / or Engineering and/or relevant qualifications / industry experience
• Experience in working on large scale $200M+ Residential/ mixed use projects
• Strong communication, report writing and stakeholder engagement skills
