Abouttherole:

Evoenergy has an opportunity for a highly skilled engineer to join the Customer Delivery team as Project Engineer, assisting with the design and project planning for customer-initiated projects.

You will be responsible for maintaining project oversight during all phases of a project design (from project concept to construction handover), and ensuring a reliable, responsive, effective and efficient primary interface point is provided for internal / external customers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

·       Develop detailed project designs and project briefs, including preliminary cost estimates, for assigned customer-initiated projects.

·       Develop and prepare associated documentation for assigned projects, ensuring that the customer’s requirements and Evoenergy’s business objectives are met.

·       Undertake general project related activities for assigned network and customer-initiated projects, to ensure projects are delivered within predetermined budgetary and time constraints.

·       Responsible for the provision of technical support and advice to the Customer Delivery branch, other Evoenergy business units as required, and to Evoenergy customers.

·       Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

·       Keep abreast of developments in best practice administrative and contract support to ensure that Evoenergy’s service and processes are in line with industry standards.

About you:

·       Degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred) however an Advanced Diploma, or equivalent, in Electrical Engineering is acceptable as a minimum (essential)

·       Demonstrated experience in design for electricity distribution projects including overhead and underground networks.

·       Sound knowledge and/or understanding of the regulatory environment relating to the electricity distribution industry. 

·       Proven ability in balancing priorities whilst continuing to meet the expectations of customers. 

·       Demonstrated problem solving experience.
