One of our large clients is seeking experienced Telecommunications Project Engineers in the construction of Mobile / Wireless, NBN Fixed-Wireless sites. This role can be worked from any state in Australia. Experience working in a similar role is essential. Strong NBN Wireless construction experience is highly regarded.
Duties / Experience
- Degree in Civil Engineering or similar
- Project Management experience
- Worked on 4G, 5G, NBN Wireless construction roll-outs
- Establish and maintain contacts with Clients, subcontractors and Suppliers
- Preparation of internal and external reports
- Updating of roll-out tools and spreadsheets
- Internal and external problems escalation
- Organisation of design activities including site surveys and study of specifications and new equipment
- Preparing Site Safety Plans and scope of works
- Ordering materials and managing deliveries of equipment
- Planning construction activities
- Preparation of site construction package
- Subcontractor coordination
- Managing inductions on site
- Managing quality control and non conformity issues, preparation of relevant documentation up to final client approval.
