About the Role
We are currently seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to join our client's team in Brisbane. This role involves overseeing a variety of capital projects at a few of their established dairy production sites. The initial contract is for 12 months, with a strong possibility of extension, given the client's multiple sites across Australia and ongoing project demands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and deliver engineering projects within the dairy production site, ensuring all project objectives are met on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement effective solutions to mitigate risks.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Prepare and present regular project updates and reports to senior management and clients.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field preferred).
- Proven experience in project management within the dairy, food, or beverage industries.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel to different sites as required.
