In this role, you'll:
Be working as part of the Sydney Harbour Bridge maintenance team looking after infrastructure maintenance and improvement projects and contracts and supporting the overall maintenance of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and precinct.
The Project Engineer Level 1 role will be responsible for:
- Contributing to the oversight of nominated projects by managing specific projects to enable their on-time completion and delivery of scope objectives.
- Control, administration and delivery of contracts and assist the Superintendents representative on selected contracts to ensure the effective delivery of contract works.
- Developing project briefs for Professional Service providers and internal service units to assist with the management of design and investigation process and to support quality design.
- Supporting the implementation of TfNSW's procedures, guidelines, processes and practices to maintain a high level of WH&S, Industrial Relations, environmental management and quality on projects/contracts.
- Providing timely and accurate project reports, managing project financials, developing briefing papers, maintaining quality records, and undertaking research to contribute to the effective management of projects.

About you
You have a four-year engineering degree from an Australian University or equivalent overseas qualifications.
You have knowledge and experience of project management principles, including technical aspects of civil engineering materials, equipment and techniques.
You have experience in engineering projects, contract management and exposure to infrastructure maintenance and construction work.
You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and willingness to work independently and within a friendly team environment.
You possess a current and valid Australian motor vehicle driver license and willingness to work outside normal working hours and travel on occasion.
