In collaboration with a top-tier Tier 2 construction firm, WSC is looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Roadworks Construction Engineer.
The ideal candidate will have a robust background in road construction and extensive experience with TfNSW Roadworks specifications, coupled with a proactive approach to safety and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of roadworks construction, ensuring compliance with TfNSW Roadworks specifications, particularly focusing on Earthworks and Asphalt.
- Lead and foster a strong safety culture on-site, ensuring all safety protocols are meticulously followed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and team members.
- Effectively solve problems and demonstrate adept negotiation and leadership skills to steer project success.
- Manage budgets, control costs, oversee financial documentation, and handle any project variations efficiently.
- Plan and allocate resources and materials effectively to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specifications.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must be a degree-qualified Civil Engineer.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in road construction.
- At least 5 years of proven experience working with TfNSW Roadworks specifications, especially in Earthworks and Asphalt.
