Form of workWe are seeking a talented Project Engineer with experience in packaging solutions to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from conception to completion, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative packaging solutions that meet client requirements, regulatory standards, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of packaging solutions for food and beverage products, considering factors such as product integrity, shelf life, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including R&D, manufacturing, quality assurance, and sales, to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses to evaluate the viability of packaging concepts and technologies.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure on-time delivery within scope and budget constraints.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize packaging processes, enhance product performance, and reduce environmental impact.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements related to food and beverage packaging.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Project Engineering, preferably within the food and beverage packaging industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and familiarity with packaging design principles and materials.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and mitigate risks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
