Key responsibilities include.
· Consult, recommend, and advise on specialist engineering areas
· Supervise and co-ordinate multi-disciplined design activities
· Control and manage technical interfaces between disciplines, with equipment suppliers and subcontractors
· Assist in the preparation of quotes and tenders and lead the preparation of minor ones
· Assist in the preparation of forecast and constructability of projects
· Supervise commissioning activities with the site commissioning teams
· Develop Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) and work packs for Rail Systems work packages
Requirements to be successful.
· Tertiary Qualifications in relevant field for the position, preferably degree level.
· A minimum of 3 years’ experience working on train control system projects (design, construction, test & commissioning) or similar
· Experience in delivery of Rail system projects including experience with procedures including Possession/Occupation management, Isolation requests, Hour by Hour planning, construction adjacent to live services and Entry into Service processes.
· Experience in developing scopes and estimating.
