KAEFER Integrated Services are currently looking for a PROJECT ENGINEER (SMP) for a significant and long-term project based in South Australia. This role will be FIFO working a 10:4 (days) roster.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide assistance to the Technical Engineering team in the development and modification of mechanical designs and specification drawings for a large scale project
- Prepare quantity and take off estimates
- Visit the construction site to assess and survey design and manufacturing requirements
- Provide technical advice and assistance to project management teams to ensure quality control for the installation of components in conjunction with specifications
- Maintain the Request For Information (RFI) reports and assist with submitting responses to the client
- Read, interpret and modify Project Engineering plans
- Implement and execute Project Plans
- Develop and maintain planning and reporting systems to ensure project requirements are satisfied
- Maintain client interfaces and other Contractor planning functions
About You
- Demonstrated experience as a Project Engineer, ideally having worked for a Contractor in mining, oil & gas or heavy industry in construction
- You resume will clearly outline your experience working in the construction industry (preferably mining) in Australia
- Bachelor Mechanical Degree
- Strong organisational ability with time management, attention to detail and problem solving capabilities
- Able to work well both independently and as part of a team
- A proactive and results oriented mindset, able to prioritize tasks effectively
