ABOUT THE ROLE
The Rix Group is actively recruiting a Project Engineer for the Snowy 2.0 Project (NSW) at the Lobs Hole project site.

Reporting to the Project Manager, as a Project Engineer you will join an established construction team and will be responsible for ensuring the project deliverables, project planning and efficiency, quality and compliance, providing design and technical support to the construction and supervision teams, and resource management.
The role requires an exceptional degree of communication, interaction and liaising with internal and external stakeholders. You will by lead by example, demonstrating the qualities and behaviours that you expect from your colleagues and team members, and you will continuously maintain the highest level of health and safety standards in accordance with Rix’ WHS policies and exhibit behaviours consistent with our values.

What we want:
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management, or similarly related fields
- Experience working as part of a DIDO/FIFO team environment
What we expect:
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience on Australian Tier 1 construction/engineering, infrastructure and/or resources projects, with ground support experience/exposure being highly favourable
- A strong and confident communicator, literacy proficiency, great-to-excellent MS Excel ability, and a keen desire to learn, teach, encourage and support
- You MUST have a current open (full) Driver’s Licence and Construction White Card
- You will be required to undertake a National Police Clearance Check and a full pre-employment medical health screen including drug and alcohol screening
