The Opportunity
As a Senior Consultant - Trenchless, you'll be instrumental in the successful execution of trenchless tunneling projects. Your role will encompass leveraging your technical expertise, overseeing engineering activities, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and schedule standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Excellence: Apply deep understanding of trenchless tunneling principles, practices, and construction techniques. Provide expert guidance to project teams and stakeholders.
Project Planning and Coordination: Collaborate with project managers to develop comprehensive plans, schedules, and budgets. Coordinate engineering tasks, including design development, construction sequencing, risk assessment, and value engineering.
Design Management: Review and approve tunnel designs, ensuring compliance with codes and standards. Identify design optimisation opportunities and propose innovative solutions.
Contract Management: Assist in preparing and evaluating contract documents. Review contractor submissions and resolve technical issues during construction.
Quality Control and Assurance: Implement rigorous quality control procedures. Conduct inspections and tests to ensure compliance, addressing non-conformities as needed.
Stakeholder Management: Engage with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities. Resolve conflicts and maintain effective communication.
This role will require you to travel to and stay on site.

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Comprehensive knowledge of trenchless tunneling principles, methods, and construction techniques.
- Previous experience in trenchless tunneling project design, construction, or management is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations governing trenchless tunneling projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex engineering scenarios.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Professional certifications or memberships in relevant engineering associations are beneficial.
- Ability to travel to and work from site will be required
