In this role, you'll: Be working as part of the Maintenance and Delivery team in the Upper Hunter at Singleton depot delivering road and traffic infrastructure and maintenance projects in order to achieve road safety, asset management and network efficiency objectives. As a Project Engineer you will be responsible for: Responsible for nominated projects by managing time, scope, quality and budget. Analysing challenging problems and providing technical advice and solutions to project teams. Managing a blue-collar workforce through a direct delivery arrangement. Engaging actively in a safety-first culture and driving innovations and improvements in this area. Procuring and overseeing service providers, monitoring and reviewing ongoing work programs to make effective use of resources and deliver agreed objectives. Preparing contract documents for road works projects, including technical specifications to engage, administer and deliver contract works and ensure efficient project delivery.
