About the position
The Water and WastewaterProject Engineer provides high quality professional, innovative and practical civil engineering project management and support services, and assists in the best practice development, implementation and monitoring of maintenance and construction projects carried out by Council’s Water and Wastewater team.

About you
- A 4 year degree in Civil Engineering suitable to gain Professional Engineer member status with the Institution of Engineers (Australia) with a minimum of 5 years experience working in a multi-disciplined Project Engineering field.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the regulatory and legislative requirements relevant to Water and Wastewater asset construction and management.
- Superior written and oral communication skills, including the preparation of complex technical reports, delivery of presentations, and research skills.
- Experience and demonstrated competence in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Project.
- Class C driver’s license.
- Experience with Aus-Spec (Nat-Spec) design and construction specifications. (desirable)
- Demonstrated experience and/or capability to deliver the Job Specific Key Accountabilities (outlined in position description).
- Demonstrated Advanced Key Capabilities as defined in the Key Capabilities Table (outlined in position description).

- Salary from $99,228 to $111,486 per year(depending on qualifications, skills and experience) plus 11% superannuation
