We have a very strong suite of active and upcoming projects which has created demand for additional Project Engineers to join our Brisbane team.

Role

This opportunity is for an entry-level to mid-level, degree qualified engineer with 2+ years of relevant experience in Project Engineering/project management for capital projects in food industry or similar (eg pharma, FMCG, general manufacturing, packaging, materials handling, industrial automation, etc).

Mechanical or mechatronics degree is preferred, but other disciplines will also be considered with relevant transferrable skills.

The role is focussed on project management and Project Engineering of a variety of capital projects and requires strong communication and people skills as well as a high standard of technical writing skills including professional engineering reports and specifications. To be successful will require professionalism, a good attitude and the ability to interact positively with others, including other team members and clients. You will have an aptitude for problem solving and concept development and the ability to translate project requirements into actionable tasks. On the job support will be provided by other experienced team members, however a certain amount of autonomy is necessary.

Typical daily activity involves a mixture of engineering documentation, analysis, and project management and supervision tasks, through the full project life-cycle from initial scope development and budget through to installation, commissioning and project closure. The work environment is mostly office-based, or onsite at client manufacturing factories or similar. Some work from home flexibility is also possible at times.

As a visible representative of the company liaising directly with clients and contractors, you will maintain and uphold the company's reputation as a respected professional engineering service provider with your exceptional personal presentation, communication skills, and attention to detail.

• Engineering Qualification - BEng
• An aptitude for general Project Engineering / Project Management work
• High quality communication skills, particularly written and spoken English
