I am representing a privately owned construction business that has operated for over 50+ year. They are industry leaders in industrial, commercial, hospital and education construction projects throughout Australia.About the role
The client has two projects that require someone to help with pre-con and the delivery off a university project. You will the be required to assist with the early works for a $400k newbuild. This role would suit someone with Contract Administration and Project Engineering experience.
Required Skills
- Degree qualified
- Ideally 3-5+ years’ experience as a Contracts Administrator or Project Engineer under a head contractor
- Working knowledge of tendering, developing, and letting of trade packages, cost forecasting and reporting and negotiating subcontract tenders
- Must be proficient with Aconex and Cheops (Hammertech desirable)
- Co-ordinate all site drawings and documents
- Help with design variations
- Coordinating trades on site
- Site inspections and liaising with consultants, architects and engineers
- Preparation of RFI's and Site Instructions
- Ensuring adherence to OH&S and QA standards
