EPIC ESSENTIALS
Our fast-growing Brisbane office is looking for a Project GIS Analyst to join our growing GIS team to help support Epic across a variety of projects. This role requires you to:
• Lead the GIS implementation throughout the project lifecycle, aligning with both pre-contract and active project demands;
• Develop and implement GIS workflows and processes that enhance project tendering and execution efficiency;
• Oversee the management and organization of GIS data across multiple project disciplines, ensuring data integrity and accessibility;
• Provide GIS application and tool support to Design and Construction teams, enhancing project outcomes through spatial analysis;
• Conduct spatial data management and analysis, supporting project needs and decision-making processes.
• Manage ArcGIS Online, PostGIS, and other applications, ensuring robustness and reliability;
• Identify and document high-value use cases, detailing processes, applicability, and value propositions to enhance project innovation and
efficiency.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
To be considered for this position, you will need to possess the following:
• Bachelor's Degree in Geographic Information Science or similar tertiary qualification
• At least 3 years of robust experience in environmental consulting, having contributed to a variety of projects including environmental
approvals, planning, water resources, and ecology.
• Proficiency in programming and database management, with skills in Python and SQL.
• A proven track record in the oversight of GIS projects and data management, with expertise in using ArcGIS solutions and managing
Geodatabases.
• The ability to innovate and enhance GIS workflows, aiming for increased project effectiveness and efficiency.
• Strong analytical capabilities, with a solid foundation in performing detailed spatial data analyses.
• Exceptional interpersonal and instructional abilities, capable of nurturing a culture of collaboration, knowledge exchange, and innovation
within project teams.
