The Role
Based in Exeter Tasmania, you will be reporting to the General Manager, The Administration Officer acts as the main point of contact for all inquiries, whether in person or over the phone. This role involves a wide range of responsibilities within the company, requiring close collaboration with all departments to support daily operations. Responsibilities include managing office supplies, kitchen provisions, and filing systems, as well as ensuring up-to-date training records and employee information. Proficiency in Excel, specifically in data entry, is crucial, along with the ability to quickly and accurately grasp tasks. The Administration Officer plays a crucial role in handling inquiries from employees and customers, demonstrating the skill to navigate and facilitate appropriate solutions efficiently.
Working Conditions
This role is primarily based in our office in Exeter. Requires the employee to sit at a desk for long hours and continually use a computer.
Essential Requirements
- At least one year practical experience in an administration role
- Proficient with Excel, Microsoft office suite and other required programs
- Demonstrated ‘can do’ attitude with a flexible and proactive approach
- Able to operate effectively within a team environment and cultivate productive working relationships
- Reliable to meet deadlines and committed to do so
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate the ability to interact professionally and effectively with relevant internal and external stakeholders
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work within cross-functional teams.
- Able to operate safely and effectively in a team environment.
Desirable and Other Requirements
- Certificate II or higher in Business, Administration or the like
