About the role:
The Project Management Practices Analyst is the ‘go to person’ to support our Director of Project Management Practises and the team of Project Management Commercial Leaders across ANZ. The role champions compliance of Stantec’s ANZ Project Delivery practices, working with the Project Management community, monitoring, analysing, training, and governance.
Assist the Director PMPG in ensuring that the Project Delivery in ANZ:
- Is structured to ensure compliance with ISO standards.
- Supports local business lines/centres to deliver high quality, consistent service delivery.
- Supports and implements practices, reducing unnecessary process, which help increase the business lines Gross Margin.
- Is adaptable to changing internal and external environments.
- Is risk based, and
- Is well understood by staff.
Day to day tasks would involve:
Support the implementation of the Project Management Framework (PMF) within ANZ.
Manage ANZ PD mailbox and respond to/redirect questions as appropriate.
Populate and maintain the ANZ Project Delivery sites and BI dashboards.

- Template management
- BC document management for project delivery
Monitoring for compliance to both Stantec’s internal and external controls, including SOX.
Monitoring and analysis of the PMCL assessments and metrics.
Monitor the ANZ Approved Project Managers and Project Independent Reviewer databases. Providing analysis, reporting and compliance.
Conduct project and vertical audits as required.
Analysing the results of the surveillance audits.
Preparation and agenda management of monthly PMCL Forums.
Survey input & analysis.
Maintains and records project governance at the country level.
To be successful for this role you'll need:
- Work experience in relevant industries or related roles that require excellent self-organisational and coordination skills.
- Experience in generating, understanding, and analysing financial reports and trends. You need to love data and being able to provide it back in such a way that it is helpful.
- Understanding and experience of Project Management as a discipline.
- Expert Excel, Experience with Power BI, Oracle. Ability to learn quickly.
