Busy remedial building company requires new Project Managers.
Project values $100k-$5m.
Government/public sector clients.
Remedial building, re-roofing, hazardous material removal, concrete remediation, height safety.
Our head office is in Mascot NSW. We have projects across the Sydney metro area and at varying locations in regional NSW and Queensland.
Previous experience in the construction industry is essential. Trade background preferred.
You will be leading multiple projects including full management of head contracts, client liaison/consultant and subcontract management. Your responsibilities will include:
- Client progress claims, use of notices under the contract
- Client communication and meetings
- Cash flow and budget tracking and management
- Preparing and updating the project program
- Preparing and letting scopes of work for procurement of subcontractors
- Subcontractor procurement, claims, assessment and approvals
- Monthly progress, cost and WHS reporting
- Resourcing works with subcontractors, labour and materials
- Ensuring works are compliant with clients standards, quality management
- Identifying, tracking and rectifying defects
- Implementation, monitoring, reinforcement of WHS and environmental controls and standards. Incident investigation.
- Assessing performance of subcontractors, suppliers and staff.
You will report to the Construction Manager.
