Our capability includes road, rail, bridges, and other complex public infrastructure both locally and around Australia. Your role:
Reporting to the General Manager, this role will:
- Lead project delivery activities to maximise quality, safety, financial and program performance.
- Establish and maintain constructive relationships with our client and supply chain based on transparent communication and collaborative behaviours.
- Manage and deliver month end cost reporting and forecasting including budget management.
- Lead and own your project’s commercial activities related to both head and subcontracts.
- Oversee and manage your procurement, plant, equipment and resources.
- Conduct short- and medium-term planning relating to overall progress.
- Ensure project quality management through to project completion.
- Lead, manage and coach an experienced construction team of staff professionals.
- Drive a cultural of safety excellence.
Your background:
This role will suit someone with:
- Head contractor experience delivering transport infrastructure projects for Qld State Government entities (TMR, GCWA, etc) or major Southeast Queensland local governments.
- A background managing projects in the region of $15-25 million.
- You may be an experienced Project Manager looking for your next role, or a Senior Project Engineer ready to make the next step.
- B.Eng. in a relevant discipline.
- 10+ years related industry experience, with 7+ years on-site experience.
