ABOUT THE TEAM

Our minor works division, GB Projects, takes pride in delivering exceptional projects in the fit out and refurbishment space. The division is growing rapidly with GB Projects tendering and winning more projects between the value of $1 million - $20 million across a range of sectors.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Growthbuilt special works division, GB Projects. As a Project Manager here at Growthbuilt, you will assist in leading the project delivery to bring projects in on time, on quality and on budget. Our Project Managers work closely with our construction manager, supporting in project delivery and implementing strategies to help deliver our pipeline of projects.

Reporting to the Construction Manager, your day to day might look like:

• Establish, maintain and monitor project quality standards and procedures and lead the development and implementation of solutions
• Review subcontractor works on site, as well as quality documentation and checklists to ensure compliance
• Act as facilitator to resolve design and co-ordination issues that arise between client, consultant and subcontract elements
• Manage the design team to ensure that works proceed in line with the target programme and the design documentation programme
• Review consultant and subcontractor output for compliance with the design brief
• Check tender package content for scope of work, product usage and design logic are carried out
• Construction methodology & planning
• Managing the head contract and overall programme monitoring

ABOUT YOU

• Degree qualifications in Engineering or Construction Management
• Ideally 5 years post-graduate experience in an engineering or commercial role within a tier 1-3 building environment ready to take the next step in their career
• Experience in managing façade cladding works would be viewed favourably
• Experience working on fit out and refurbishment projects to the value of $1-$20 million
• Excellent attention to detail, time management and organisation skills
• The understanding & ability to work on tenders and up coming projects
