About the Role
The primary goal of this role is to facilitate the scaling, transformation, and implementation of a large government scheme. The successful candidate will contribute to process changes, ensure the scheme's objectives are met, and collaborate with various stakeholders to develop plans and governance.
Key accountabilities include:
- Manage the relevant stakeholders to gain on-going support for the scheme and to solicit input to improve the projects and/or obtain decisions and approvals as needed.
- Develop and execute plans to ensure the scheme scales effectively, establishing plans, governance structures, and priorities.
- Collaborate with a versatile, IT-dominated team to address process changes and implement necessary adjustments.
- Conduct a thorough security/cyber review of the platform and implement multifactor authentication and visual ID management.
- Advise on the right way to apply standards and methods, ensuring compliance with security and application development standards.
- Managing varied business stakeholders across a multidisciplinary organisation.
- Establish, monitor and manage strategic relationships with key Digital Transformation service providers, providing the necessary resource expertise and capacity required to meet the objectives of the program and business requirements.
- Ensure product delivery time, cost, quality and risk management objectives are met at a program level, at all phases of the project lifecycles.
- Oversee the preparation and implementation of communications and change management plans and strategies relevant to the program of works.
- Tertiary qualifications in ICT (or related area) and Project Management.
- Recent NSW State Government experience essential.
- Familiarity with trading platforms, banking, or stock exchange systems is a plus.
- Understanding of business processes and their alignment with the scheme and project initiatives.
- Demonstrated capability in large IT project delivery with extensive end to end experience in project planning and implementation.
