Job description

Key Duties/ Responsibilities/ Deliverables:
  • Become part of and support the ongoing development of the PMO and its management of ICT project activity.
  • Collaborate with DCDD stakeholders, subject matter experts and service provider teams to fully define and scope cyber security project activity.
  • Prepare thorough project plans and management structures and maintain these to ensure that they reflect any changes as projects progress.
  • Ensure that projects are delivered within time, budget, quality and resource constraints.
  • Produce accurate, succinct and high-quality reports on project progress through project lifecycles.
Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Proven track record in successful leadership of complex ICT projects and programs with an emphasis on cyber security services.
  • Minimum 5 years project management experience within an ICT cyber security environment in a large and complex government or corporate enterprise with a managed ITIL environment.
  • Excellent risk management skills, with experience reporting and resolving risks and issues that could impact project outcomes.
  • Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships where competing agendas and priorities exist.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering communication, engagement, change management and benefit realisation as they apply to successful project management.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a collaborative environment with high performing teams with high priority deliverables under tight timeframes and balancing competing priorities.
Personal Qualities required of Candidate:
  • Highly developed social and written skills with the ability to effectively communicate with tram members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to prepare and maintain accurate documentation with excellent to detail.
  • Self-starter with high personal drive and a positive attitude.
  • Behaves in a respectful and professional manner, maintaining high integrity and transparency when delivering work.
  • High level analytical skills and organisational skills with good attention to detail and ability to think laterally and conceptually.
  • Proven ability to participate in teams including interacting effectively with people from diverse cultures, to achieve outcomes and assist others to work effectively to develop new ideas and ways of operating.
  • Services Personnel are also expected to abide (and confirm they will) by the DCDD
