You will be managing multiple projects concurrently across the Brisbane region. Working across residential, commercial, industrial and Insurance Demolition projects, from strip-out, multi-story demo, structural modifications, temporary works etc. Typical values from smaller up to $3m +.
Candidate must have previous demolition experience.
Years of experience:
5 to 10 years +
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Working on tenders
- Planning and scheduling of construction activities
- Management of site project teams
- Quality Assurance, Cost and Time Management
- Preparation of management reports
- Resolving site issues in a timely manner
- Liaising with key clients and stakeholders
- Coordinating internal and external resources
- Business development
- Recruitment and mentoring of teams
- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or similar
- 5-10+ years’ management experience on civil construction projects
- Project management qualifications will be advantageous
- Proven understanding of construction with a hands-on approach
- Proven ability to effectively lead and delegate
- Effective problem solving abilities
- Ability to resolve conflict and manage client expectations
- High level of organisation and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
