AddressOne of our clients is looking for a Project Manager with experience in Design Engineering for a Railway Project.
Below are the details:
This Project Manager position will be responsible for the project management task associated with project delivery, with a particular focus of subcontractor design delivery, focusing on DEMP(Design Engineering Management Practice).
The Project Manager will be expected to conduct regular progress meetings with key subcontractors to ensure they are meeting there obligations under their contracts as well as assessing progress.
This role will be the single point of contact for the key subcontractors and will work closely with Project Director to send a receive appropriate communications as well as contractual notices.
The Project Manager will be responsible for:-
* ensuring subcontractors meet their contract obligations;
* collaborating with subcontractors to ensure all appropriate information is made available in a timely fashion;
* facilitate workshops, where appropriate, between subcontractor organisations and the contractor project team;
* assessing progress with respect to subcontractors deliverable;
* progress reporting to all relevant stakeholders;
* managing stakeholders with principle, contractor and subcontractor organisation;
* identify and mange risks/opportunity with respect to subcontractor delivery.
Experience in Railway project is an added advantage.
