About the Role
Reporting to the Portfolio and Program Manager within the FSH ICT team, the Project Manager will be responsible for the delivery of major and complex projects, that require strong leadership and governance.
Your key accountability will be to successfully deliver projects in accordance with the Portfolio and Program project delivery methodology, that includes:
- Development of the business case
- Development and maintenance of core project documentation including the Project Initiation Document and related Project Log
- Establishment of appropriate project governance and controls
- Coordination of project resources to execute against the project scope, including subcontractor and product vendor delivery teams.
- Project financial control and tracking (critical)
- Management of project risks and issues
- Regular project reporting

About You
As the ICT Project Manager, you will have proven experience in successfully delivering complex ICT projects in large commercial, government or tertiary health environments. You will have the ability to build and maintain relationships with key vendors and business stakeholders. You will apply strong commercial acumen and will have experience in coaching and motivating project delivery teams. You’re a respectful and professional person who demonstrates exceptional values in everything you do.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in delivering large, complete ICT projects including management of project delivery teams, vendors, and key subcontractors (essential)
- Demonstrated experience working in a complex environment, with multiple customers and business stakeholders.
- Project Management Institute (PMI) and/or PRINCE2 certification and relevant ICT qualification (desirable)
- Leadership and presentation skills
- Team focus, time management and prioritisations skills
- Knowledge of ITIL global standards
- Proven ability in analysing project proposals including planning and estimation of complex project activities.
- Proven ability to manage project budgets and related cost management (essential)
- System and process driven approach
- Demonstrated experience in producing management information reports
