Project Manager - Minor Works

THE COMPANY
Our client is a Tier 1, National Electrical Construction Contractor who are BOOMING in Australia. Due to unprecedented growth in their Electrical Division in WA, they are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager (Minor Works) to join their team in Perth.

THE ROLE
Reporting to the Divisional Manager you will be responsible for;

• Management and delivery of multiple Minor Works Electrical projects from start to finish – ranging from $100K to $3M.
• Working on WA’s most Iconic Electrical Construction Projects
• Monitoring progress on site & manage supervisors & leading hands
• Forecasting and scheduling projects for successful project completion – dependant on experience, training can be provided.
• Establish and maintain relationships with Clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Attend relevant site meetings and site inspections where required
• Be a direct liaison with the client in regards to pricing and submitting variations
• Present and follow up client pricing and proposal
• Managing project budgets and variations
• Manage project WHS, Quality, and Environmental compliance Monitoring HSEQ compliance, installation compliance & quality on site

ABOUT YOU

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in managing Electrical Minor Works Projects
• Experience managing small / multiple Elec projects – ranging in value from $100K - $3m
• Ability to engage & lead a team and manage staff with varied disciplines of expertise.
• Ability to understand Construction documents (e.g. specifications, drawings & schedules)
