AddressJoining our clients operations based in Canberra, you will oversee the overall management of construction, refurbishment & remediation projects from initial setup through to completion.
THE ROLE
- Ensure compliance with HSECQ requirements
- Ensure effective cost control and efficient running of the project
- MS Project and program drafting experience
- Coordinate direct labour and subcontractors
- Project progress reporting and conducting weekly meetings
- Provision of advice on any technical and engineering issues
- Liaise closely with the client ensuring project runs to programme
- Involvement with tendering/estimation
- Raise RFI’s and track responses
- Prior experience leading & completing multiple construction, refurbishment and remediation projects
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction, Engineering or a similar discipline / experience
- Proven ability to positively influence, develop and maintain stakeholder relationships
- Ability to self-manage own workload whilst ensuring a project efficiency and a positive team environment
- Proven problem-solving capability with an approachable leadership style
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and manage deadlines
- A natural leader who is willing to develop people and achieve delivery targets
- Experience in Blast and Paint and Concrete Remedial Works would be favoured
