This is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time appointments, with the possibility of extension(s).

Digital Delivery are seeking to establish a resource pool of qualified candidates to support a responsive and flexible approach to project resourcing to enable rapid digital health project mobilisation.

The Recruitment Pool will be valid for 12 months, from which suitable applicants may be contacted when opportunities become available.

We currently have a fixed term, full time 1.0 FTE opportunity available for three (3) months from 24th June 2024.

Position Profile

We are seeking proactive and skilled Project Managers and Senior Project Managers to join our dynamic Digital Delivery team.

Reporting to the Program Manager, you will work closely with diverse clinical and non-clinical stakeholders, leadership and vendors to plan, design, and delivery of digital health solutions.

Key responsibilities for both positions include:

  • Working in collaboration with key staff to plan and manage projects in accordance with timeframes, scope, cost and quality with consideration for the appropriate governance and approval processes.
  • Creating accurate and succinct project documentations and reports aligned to the established project governance framework.
  • Identifying, managing, reporting and escalation of key risks and issues
  • Ensuring accurate record keeping of project meetings and communications.
  • Engaging with a range of professionals including ICT, business users, governance bodies, clinical and non-clinical teams as well as consumers, as appropriate to deliver the desired project outcomes.

Level 8 Project Manager

This position works independently on a range of small to medium digital health projects and collaboratively as part of the Digital Delivery team on large digital health projects.

You will be experienced in delivering projects within agreed parameters of time, cost, quality, and scope, in line with strategic and operational priorities.

Your role will include projects involving the development of concept approval requests, business cases, project plans, and implementation strategies and apply your leadership skills to garner support from a diverse range of stakeholders, ensuring application of sound project management practices.

An ICT background is beneficial in this role but is not mandatory. Ideally you will have experienced in managing projects within a healthcare setting and demonstrated ability in strategic planning, risk management, and change management. 

Level 9 Senior Project Manager

This role offers the opportunity to lead initiatives aligned with statewide healthcare strategic objectives. You will be required to manage large and complex projects aligned to CAHS strategic directives and statewide programs and projects. You may work independently or lead a team of diverse individuals to achieve project objectives.

If you are an experienced Project Manager with strong leadership skills and preferably with experience in digital project delivery, this is the role for you.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in strategic planning, change and risk management within a project context and experience working in projects across multiple service delivery areas or entities. Consumer engagement experience and an ICT background are both beneficial, but not required.

The Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) Digital Delivery team lead and deliver projects which better enable seamless delivery of services across CAHS. Our Digital Delivery project portfolio is determined through CAHS Digital Health and Statewide governance, and in alignment with the CAHS Strategic Plan.

Our team design and implement technology solutions and provide support to clinical and administrative end users across various digital systems, platforms and infrastructure including patient management systems, scheduling software, virtual and telehealth services, mobile health applications, imaging software, laboratory, and pharmacy management systems.
