Project Manager - Site Supervisor

We Clad It is an industry leader in Residential cladding delivering key projects throughout Victoria.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cladding Supervisor to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our management team, you will be working closely with the estimation and on-site teams and will be responsible for managing multiple cladding projects. This role requires on-site presence.

• Work with our Leadership Team to Schedule trades & materials to ensure Hebel & Foam installation, Carpentry Cladding, and Rendering jobs are completed successfully, within budget and required time-frames.
   
• Successfully deliver multiple projects simultaneously from design through to defect liability. Ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
   
• Liaise with clients to manage their expectations and keep them well informed, to ensure they are happy with our work.
   
• Inspect job sites to ensure they are safe (meeting WHS requirements) and ready for our trades to commence work.
   
• Inspect jobs to ensure they are completed to a high standard of quality.
   
• Keep a record of all activities relating to the job in our cloud-based job management system.
   
• Travel to job sites across Melbourne and the surrounding areas
   
• Collaborate effectively with our in house design, estimating and on-site teams to develop cost effective engineered solutions to complete the project within budget and to the required standard.
   
• Establish and grow partnering relations with external head contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the project life cycle.
   
• Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure all cladding and facade installations meet the specified standards and regulations.
   
• Conduct on-site inspections to assess progress of the site team and ensure design is being followed, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions promptly. Develop contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges.
   
• Prioritise and enforce strict adherence to health and safety protocols on construction sites. Manage all health and safety requirements and promote a culture of safety among project teams.

• Minimum 3 years proven experience as a Project Manager with an understanding of cladding material such as Hebel, Polystyrene, Rendering & Cement sheet cladding. 
   
• Solid technical knowledge of residential building & construction (on-site experience, particularly with Hebel, Foam, Carpentry Cladding & Render) 
   
• Proficient in using computer softwares for project management and reporting.
   
• Strong communicator.
   
• Good organisation and problem-solving skills.
   
• A driven team player who enjoys a fast-paced environment and can work unsupervised.
   
• Sound technical skills for use of computer & mobile devices - navigating emails & inspection reporting app.
   
• A Construction Induction White Card.
   
• A valid driver's license. 
   
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and regulations.
   
• Ability to read and understand architectural drawings.
   
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisation skills.
   
• Proven experience managing multiple end-to-end projects simultaneously.
   
• Tertiary qualifications in construction, engineering, or similar field preferred but not essential if you have a proven track record.
